TLDR Chinese and Japanese bloggers discuss different topics and have varying opinions, reflecting cultural differences.
The document analyzed the topics discussed by Chinese and Japanese bloggers using Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) and found cultural and opinion differences between the two groups. The study collected blog posts from Sina blog host in China and Nihon Blog Mura in Japan, focusing on "health," "military," and "nursing care" categories. It revealed that some topics were unique to each country, such as "solar terms and health" for Chinese bloggers and "color psychological test" for Japanese bloggers. Common topics like "hair restoration" showed different concerns, with Chinese bloggers discussing natural therapies and Japanese bloggers focusing on hair transplantation. The analysis also highlighted contrasting views on geopolitical issues like the "Senkaku Islands dispute" and "South China Sea dispute." The study suggests that the LDA method can effectively reveal significant cultural and opinion differences between bloggers from different countries.
