TLDR PRP is a safe and versatile treatment option, but more standardized clinical trials are needed to confirm its effectiveness.
This integrative review examines the clinical applications of Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) in humans, highlighting its regenerative potential and safety across various medical fields. The study analyzed 15 publications from 2024 to 2025, covering dermatology, orthopedics, otorhinolaryngology, gynecology, dentistry, and regenerative medicine. PRP shows promise in tissue healing, bone and muscle regeneration, facial rejuvenation, alopecia treatment, and tympanic repair. However, the lack of standardized preparation and application protocols complicates result comparison and standardization. Despite its therapeutic potential, more controlled and methodologically standardized clinical trials are needed to confirm PRP's efficacy in diverse clinical contexts.
