A 27-year-old woman experienced a chronic pruritic eruption starting at age 4, which spread to various body parts and worsened in summer. The condition, unresponsive to multiple treatments including steroids and antihistamines, was characterized by infiltrated plaques with prominent follicles and alopecia but minimal scaling and inflammation. Diagnostic tests were normal.
