The study characterized Soluplus/ASC-DP nanoparticles encapsulated with minoxidil for targeted skin application, using the hydration method to prepare the nanoparticles. The research found that Sol/ASC-DP nanoparticles formed stable, spherical micelle-like particles, approximately 80-100 nm in size, due to hydrophobic interactions. These nanoparticles improved the skin permeability of minoxidil, suggesting their potential as effective carriers for poorly water-soluble drugs in skin-targeted therapies.
