A 16-year-old girl with alopecia areata, who had a family history of vitiligo and psoriasis, was treated with individualized homeopathic medicine, Natrum muriaticum in 200th potency, after conventional treatments failed. The treatment resulted in significant improvement, with new hair growth within weeks and complete resolution of the bald patch within 2 months. The report suggests that individualized homeopathic treatment can be effective for alopecia areata but highlights the need for more clinical studies to validate these findings.
