Biobran MGN-3

The study conducted at Nishtar Hospital Multan involved 50 breast cancer patients divided into two groups to assess the effect of Biobran MGN-3 on reducing chemotherapy side effects. Group-A received 3 grams of Biobran MGN-3 daily, while Group-B received chemotherapy alone. Over six cycles, Group-A showed significant reductions in tiredness and anorexia, with 80% reporting increased appetite and no tiredness without additional supplements. In contrast, Group-B experienced severe anorexia, with only 12% not requiring appetite stimulants. Additionally, 60% of Group-A did not need anti-emetics, compared to 100% in Group-B who suffered severe nausea. Hair loss was also less prevalent in Group-A (28%) compared to Group-B (100%). The study concluded that Biobran MGN-3 helped optimize the immune system, reducing treatment side effects and improving quality of life during and after chemotherapy.
