TLDR Biobran MGN-3 reduces chemotherapy side effects and improves quality of life for breast cancer patients.
The study assessed the effects of Biobran MGN-3 on reducing chemotherapy-induced side effects in 50 breast cancer patients at Nishtar Hospital Multan. Patients were divided into two groups: Group-A received Biobran MGN-3 alongside chemotherapy, while Group-B received only chemotherapy. Results showed that Group-A experienced significant reductions in tiredness, anorexia, and nausea, with 80% reporting increased appetite and 60% not needing anti-emetics. Additionally, only 28% of Group-A experienced hair loss compared to 100% in Group-B. The study concluded that Biobran MGN-3 helped optimize the immune system, reducing side effects and improving quality of life during treatment.
