Beyond Vitiligo Guidelines: Combined Stratified/Personalized Approaches for the Vitiligo Patient

The article proposes a personalized/stratified approach for treating vitiligo patients beyond the set guidelines. The approach involves visualizing each patient as a separate case and tailoring a personalized treatment plan accordingly. The paper discusses different clinical dilemmas encountered in daily clinical practice when dealing with vitiligo patients and acknowledges the current limitations that hinder therapeutic achievements. The authors suggest that ongoing international efforts to decipher the pathophysiology of vitiligo and make it a "druggable" disease will challenge and improve the proposed approach.
