TLDR Beard and moustache reconstruction can improve facial hair appearance with few side effects.
Beard and moustache reconstruction, a procedure that has gained popularity over the last decade, is used to correct facial areas with hair density deficit and enhance pre-existing facial hair cosmetically. The surgical technique involves harvesting grafts from the scalp using the follicular unit excision (FUE) or follicular unit transplantation (FUT) technique, and then placing them in either premade slits or using the stick and place method. The procedure's advancement and refinement over the years have helped achieve optimal aesthetic results with minimal side effects.
