This study assessed anxiety and knowledge about laser hair removal (LHR) among 400 adult dermatology clinic attendees in Saudi Arabia, predominantly female (89.5%) and Saudi nationals (91.5%). It found that 67.8% reported mild anxiety, and 39.5% had adequate knowledge about LHR. Anxiety was higher among males, non-Saudis, married individuals, and those with lower income or knowledge levels. Knowledge varied by gender, nationality, education, residence, and income, with females and Saudis generally having higher knowledge. The study underscores the importance of addressing misconceptions and improving health literacy to reduce anxiety and enhance informed decision-making regarding LHR.
