The study evaluated the antifungal effects of Caragana korshinskii seed oil against Trichophyton mentagrophytes in guinea pigs. The animals were divided into five groups, including controls and those treated with 50% and 100% seed oil. After a 10-day treatment, the CK50% and CK100% groups showed significant improvement in lesion scores compared to the negative control, with the CK100% group showing 75% clinical efficacy. Histopathological examination revealed no fungal elements or tissue damage in the CK100% and positive control groups.
