    Androgenic alopecia is a common problem in female patients. In the past, there was little information available to understand or treat hair loss in women. However, recent advancements in technology have allowed physicians to better evaluate and treat females with androgenic alopecia. This article provides an overview of the current evaluation and possible treatment options for androgenic alopecia.
