    TLDR Androgenetic alopecia is more common in Chinese Han than in Chinese Yi in Liangshan.
    The study aimed to determine the prevalence of androgenetic alopecia (AGA) in the Liangshan district through a community-based survey involving 2,331 participants. The results showed that 15.4% of the participants had AGA, with a standardized prevalence of 15.5%. The prevalence was significantly higher in males (25.4%) compared to females (7.5%). Additionally, the prevalence among the Chinese Han population (17.2%) was significantly higher than that among the Chinese Yi population (9.3%). The study concluded that AGA was more prevalent in Chinese Han than in Chinese Yi in the Liangshan district.
