The study investigated the efficacy of aloe vera peel extract gel in treating minor burns (combustio) in rabbits. The experimental laboratory study found that the gel formulations with 5%, 10%, and 15% concentrations of aloe vera peel extract resulted in 90%, 93.3%, and 86.7% healing of the burns, respectively. The conclusion drawn from the results was that aloe vera peel extract gel at these concentrations can accelerate the drying of minor burns. The study suggests further research using different dosage forms such as ointments, lotions, or creams.
