Analysis of Hairline and Forehead Sexual Dimorphic Aesthetics in 60 Celebrities Using Artificial Intelligence

TLDR Women have smaller foreheads and different hairline shapes than men.
The study examined the hairline and forehead aesthetics of 60 white celebrities (30 men and 30 women) using artificial intelligence to identify sexually dimorphic differences. It found that women have significantly smaller forehead widths and shorter lateral forehead heights compared to men. The mean forehead height above the lateral eyebrow was 3.51 cm in women and 4.16 cm in men, while above the eyebrow peak, it was 4.34 cm in women and 5.55 cm in men. Female hairlines tend to have a downward slanting contour, whereas male hairlines are more horizontal with a slight upward slant. These findings are important for aesthetic facial surgery, hair transplantation, and facial gender-affirming surgery, emphasizing the need to consider these differences in such procedures.
