This study found a statistically significant association between androgenetic alopecia (AGA) and coronary artery disease (CAD) in young Asian Indian Gujarati male patients. The prevalence of AGA was higher in young CAD patients compared to those without CAD. The study suggests that AGA may be a marker for increased risk of CAD in young males. However, further studies are needed to confirm this association.
