The study aimed to identify adverse events and incidents in aesthetic care performed by biomedical professionals. An integrative review of 31 studies revealed various adverse events, including infections, skin burns, muscle dysfunction, damage requiring emergency services, deformities, and pain. The findings highlighted the need to incorporate patient safety into the biomedical curriculum.
