    TLDR Effective treatment with antiparasitic, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and antiallergic medications can lead to recovery in dogs with complicated demodicosis.
    A German Shepherd with alopecia, erythema, hyperpigmentation, comedones, crust formation, itching, and oozing of serum and pus was diagnosed with a mixed infection of demodicosis and pyoderma through skin scraping and bacterial culture. The dog was treated with antiparasitic and antibacterial medications, along with anti-inflammatory and antiallergic agents, leading to improvement and eventual recovery. The study highlighted the increasing need for advanced therapeutic management of complicated demodicosis in canines due to the rising incidence of such cases among pets.
