A 1.6-year-old male Persian cat with a history of pruritus, alopecia, erythema, and wet skin was diagnosed with Acute Moist Dermatitis (AMD) caused by the furmite Lynxacarus radovskyi and a secondary bacterial infection. The cat also exhibited thrombocytopenia, likely due to blood parasites, as indicated by hematuria and epistaxis. Intensive treatment over several weeks with antiparasitics, antibiotics, antihistamines, NSAIDs, and vitamins was administered.
