TLDR Homeopathy improved Acne Keloidalis Nuchae in a 14-year-old.
This case report described the successful treatment of Acne Keloidalis Nuchae (AKN) in a 14-year-old male using the homeopathic remedy Calcarea Phosphoricum 30c. AKN is a rare condition that leads to keloid-like scars and cicatricial alopecia, primarily affecting African ethnic groups. The patient experienced significant improvement, including reduced eruption size and cessation of discharges. The report suggested that homeopathy could be an effective management strategy for AKN by addressing the patient holistically. However, it called for further research to validate these findings, as the report was based on a single case.
