      This study suggests that using a dermoscope, a handheld microscope, can effectively help distinguish between Pityrosporum folliculitis and Acne vulgaris by revealing unique lesion characteristics that are not visible to the naked eye, offering a practical diagnostic alternative when KOH examinations are unavailable.
