research LO-010 Relationship Between The EULAR/ACR Classification Criteria And Organ Damage In Systemic Lupus Erythematosus
The study examined the relationship between the 2019 EULAR/ACR classification criteria and organ damage in 562 patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Patients were divided into two groups based on their EULAR/ACR scores: group 1 (scores ≥20) and group 2 (scores 10–19). Group 1 exhibited a higher prevalence of symptoms such as fever, alopecia, and renal disease, and had significantly higher organ damage scores, particularly in the renal, cardiovascular, dermatological, and gonadal domains. The renal domain of the EULAR/ACR criteria showed the strongest correlation with renal damage. The findings suggest that the EULAR/ACR criteria not only aid in disease classification but also have potential utility in predicting organ damage in SLE patients.
