Cetuximab, also known by the brand name Erbitux, is a monoclonal antibody used in cancer treatment. It works by targeting the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) on the surface of cancer cells, inhibiting their growth and survival. This drug is commonly used to treat certain types of head, neck, and colorectal cancers.
