TLDR Wild peach leaf extract improves hair strength, thickness, and shine after dyeing.
This study evaluated the effects of wild peach leaf extract on hair protection and improvement during the Pigmentation Technique hair dyeing process. Treatments with 0%, 5%, and 10% extract concentrations were tested. Results showed that higher concentrations of the extract (10% being the highest) led to increased tensile strength, improved hair cross-section, greater hair thickness, and enhanced hair gloss. These findings suggest that wild peach leaf extract could be a promising natural ingredient for hair cosmetics, encouraging further research into natural extracts for hair care.
