TLDR The girl has a hormonal imbalance causing increased hair growth and other male characteristics.
A 14-year-old girl presented with increasing hair growth on her face and trunk over the past 2 years, along with a deepening voice. She had normal breast and pubic hair development starting at age 11 and began menstruating at age 12, with periods occurring every 4 to 8 weeks. She was in good health, had no history of serious illness, and was not on any medications. Physical examination showed a well-nourished female with a deep voice, receding frontal hairline, and dark hair on her upper lip and chin, along with minimal facial acne.
