Unique Presentations of Female Pattern Hair Loss Evident in Asian and Black Women

    TLDR Hair loss patterns in Asian and Black women are unique and may affect treatment.
    A study of 112 women with female pattern hair loss revealed unique presentation patterns in Asian, particularly South Asian, and Black women. These findings suggest that racial variations in hair loss presentation, previously noted in men, also exist in women and may influence treatment response rates across different populations.
