TLDR Alopecia, or hair loss, can be caused by genetics, illness, or certain drugs, and can be treated with synthetic or natural medications.
Alopecia, or baldness, is a common issue characterized by significant weakening of scalp hair, often following a specific pattern. The role of hereditary predisposition in alopecia is significant, although not fully understood. Alopecia can be categorized based on its cause, which may be hereditary factors, autoimmune diseases, or exposure to certain drugs or chemicals. Various treatment strategies exist depending on the type and cause of alopecia. Chemical or synthetic medications used for hair loss management often come with a range of undesirable side effects. However, naturally occurring drugs also play a crucial role in managing alopecia and typically have minimal side effects.
