TLDR Transtherapy significantly improved moderate to severe acne scars without side effects.
The study examined the effectiveness of transtherapy, a Korean Medicine treatment, on two male patients with moderate to severe acne scars. Using a 26G precision needle to create micro-wounds and promote skin regeneration, the treatment significantly improved acne scars. The Qualitative Global Acne Scarring Grading System scores decreased from 3.5±0.71 to 1.5±0.71, and photo evaluations showed an average improvement score of 8.33±0.52 on a 10-point scale. The study concluded that transtherapy was beneficial for promoting skin regeneration in moderate to severe acne scars, with no reported side effects, though further studies were recommended.

The user has been using finasteride for 10 months with no significant regrowth but no further hair loss and is considering adding oral minoxidil despite concerns about side effects. Other users suggest combining finasteride with minoxidil for better results, as finasteride prevents further hair loss while minoxidil aids regrowth.
