Phytochemical studies revealed that Amla contains tannins, alkaloids, polyphenols, fatty acids, glycosides, phosphatides, vitamins, and minerals, with significant compounds like gallic acid, ellagic acid, phyllembein, and ascorbic acid. The review underscored Amla's significant role in traditional medicine and its potential for modern pharmacological applications.
