Therapeutic Management of Feline Otoacariasis in Persian Cats

Seven Persian cats with symptoms of scratching, hair loss, and excessive waxy exudate were diagnosed with ear mites. They were treated with Fipronil spray applied weekly in the ear canal for up to 4 weeks. By the end of the treatment, no mites were detected, demonstrating the efficacy of Fipronil spray against ear mites in these cats.
