TLDR Testosterone with or without finasteride doesn't improve thinking skills in older men with low testosterone.
The study aimed to investigate whether exogenous testosterone alone or with finasteride improves cognitive function in healthy older men with low serum testosterone. The study found that there were no significant cognitive differences between the treatment and placebo groups in any cognitive domain and its associated dependent variables, except for one index of verbal memory. The study suggests that exogenous testosterone alone or with finasteride does not improve measurements of cognition in healthy older men with low serum testosterone.
