TLDR The technique effectively restores temporal peaks in hair transplants using different hair densities and angles in three zones.
The document from 8 years ago, "Temporal Peaks Restoration: A New Innovation", presented a technique for restoring the temporal peaks, an area of hair restoration that was technically difficult and often avoided by surgeons. The author divided the temporal peaks area into three zones (I, II, and III) and proposed using only single-hair containing follicular units (FUs) with fine hairs in zone I with a density of 10 to 15 per cm2. In zone II, the density should be slightly higher (15 to 20 per cm2), and in zone III, 1- or 2-hair FUs should be used to match the density of the pre-existing temporal hair (25 to 30 per cm2). The author also emphasized the importance of the angle of the hair shaft exit, recommending it to be as acute as possible (10° or less). The technique was found to be practical and useful in recreating the temporal peaks.
