TLDR The 2% minoxidil cream is stable, spreads well on the skin, and helps with hair growth.
The study conducted by Zaporizhzhia State Medical University evaluated the rheological characteristics of a 2% minoxidil cream for external use, aimed at stabilizing hair growth and recovering hair in individuals with androgenous alopecia. Using a rotary viscosimeter, the cream was found to have optimal ointment consistency and exceptional thixotropic properties, indicating its stability under mechanical stress and during long-term storage. The dynamic flow factors confirmed the cream's adequate distribution on the skin. Additionally, the minimal interaction between the active substance and excipients was noted, suggesting a stable formulation.
