TLDR The treatment showed promising hair growth results but needs more research.
This case series investigated the use of autologous stromal vascular fraction cells combined with platelet-rich plasma (PRP) for treating androgenic alopecia in three male patients. The treatment aimed to enhance hair regeneration by utilizing the growth factors in SVFs and PRP. Each patient received a single round of injections, with follow-ups showing promising results: substantial hair growth was observed in a 32-year-old man after one month, significant hair growth with darker hair in a 43-year-old man after three months, and dense hair growth with increased thickness in a 65-year-old man after three months. The study highlighted the potential of this combination therapy for hair regeneration, though the small sample size limited the generalizability of the findings, and further investigation into long-term effects was needed.
