TLDR Hair grew in a man's mouth due to a rare condition called heterotopia.
An adult male experienced recurrent hair growth in the floor of his mouth, specifically at the right submandibular duct opening. A CT scan revealed a 3mm stone at the site, which was removed under local anesthesia. The rarity of this condition led to an exploration of possible causes, with initial consideration of the retrograde theory due to the patient's beard. However, the final conclusion suggested heterotopia as the likely cause.
