TLDR Women have more and deeper mouth wrinkles than men due to fewer skin appendages.
The study found that women had more and deeper perioral wrinkles compared to men, which was attributed to the significantly smaller number of skin appendages in women. This difference in skin structure could explain why women were more prone to developing perioral wrinkles.
