Panoramic Trichoscopy as a Novel Assessment Response Method to Diffuse Alopecia

    TLDR Panoramic Trichoscopy is a new, better way to assess widespread hair loss.
    The study evaluated panoramic trichoscopy as a novel method for assessing treatment response in diffuse alopecia. Conducted from August 2021 to January 2023, it involved 60 patients at Al Hussein University Hospitals. Results showed varying degrees of improvement: 38.3% of patients improved little, 43.3% significantly, and 18.3% moderately, with a mean satisfaction rate of 37%. The study concluded that panoramic trichoscopy is an easy, tolerable, cost-effective, and time-saving diagnostic method for patients with diffuse alopecia.
