TLDR Cyclosporin doesn't stop hair loss.
The study investigated the use of oral cyclosporin as a potential treatment for androgenetic alopecia, a type of hair loss. The study found that oral cyclosporin does not stop the progression of androgenetic alopecia. The study involved 20 men with androgenetic alopecia who were given oral cyclosporin for 6 months. The researchers found no significant difference in hair density or hair diameter between the group that received the drug and the control group. Therefore, the researchers concluded that oral cyclosporin is not an effective treatment for androgenetic alopecia.
