Olive Oil Regenerates Hair Lost During Alopecia Complication Caused by SARS-CoV-2 Infection and Vaccination

The study by Sudhir Bhatia demonstrates that olive oil applications on the scalp can regenerate hair lost due to SARS-CoV-2 infection and vaccination. The study involved 2 male participants, one who experienced hair loss from the infection and the other from a vaccination side effect. Both applied olive oil to their scalps, resulting in significant hair regrowth within weeks. The first participant saw increased hair density after four applications, while the second observed substantial hair regeneration within four weeks. The study suggests that olive oil, an inexpensive and widely available product, could be an effective treatment for coronavirus-associated alopecia.
