The review of Daucus carota, commonly known as carrot, highlighted its rich phytochemical composition, including alkaloids, flavonoids, and essential oils. Nutritional analysis of carrot juice revealed it contained proteins, fats, fibers, carbohydrates, and various vitamins and minerals. Pharmacological studies demonstrated that Daucus carota had multiple health benefits, such as cytotoxic, antioxidant, antidiabetic, antimicrobial, and anti-inflammatory effects. It also showed potential in protecting various organs, enhancing memory, and promoting wound healing. The review underscored the nutritional and therapeutic importance of Daucus carota.
