Nourkrin Woman with Marilex Enhances Hair Growth and Appearance and Improves Hair Confidence in Women with Diffuse Hair Loss from Brazil: An Investigator-Initiated Clinical Study

In 2020, a study involving 67 women with moderate to severe Female Pattern Hair Loss (FPHL) or Telogen Effluvium (TE) was conducted in Brazil. The participants were treated with Nourkrin® Woman, a Proteoglycan Replacement Therapy (PRT) containing Marilex®. After 3 months, 94.03% of the women reported improved hair growth and 95.52% reported improved hair appearance. By the end of the 6-month study, these figures were 94.03% and 92.54% respectively. Additionally, 83.58% of the participants reported increased hair confidence at both the 3 and 6-month marks. The study concluded that Nourkrin® Woman with Marilex® effectively stimulates hair growth and improves hair appearance, leading to increased self-confidence in women with diffuse hair loss. The treatment was also found to be safe, with no reported side effects.
