The study focused on developing a novel drug delivery system for finasteride using niosomes, which are vesicular systems that can enhance drug targeting and effectiveness. Various formulations were created using different non-ionic surfactants, including Span 20, Span 80, Tween 20, Tween 80, and Brij35, along with cholesterol and finasteride. These formulations, labeled F1 through F5, were evaluated for entrapment efficiency and vesicular size. Among them, formulation F1 demonstrated superior results compared to the others, making it the optimal choice for further studies. This research aimed to improve the efficacy, safety, and patient compliance of finasteride through an innovative delivery method.
