TLDR Morinda pubescens fruit extract helps wounds heal faster in rats.
The study from December 2006 examined the effects of a chloroform extract of Morinda pubescens fruit on wound healing in rats. The results showed that applying the extract topically at concentrations of 20 mg/mL and 10 mg/mL significantly sped up the wound healing process compared to the control group. Specifically, rats treated with the 20 mg/mL concentration experienced complete wound closure and began to grow new hair over the wound within 15 days, whereas the control rats only achieved 60% wound contraction and no hair growth.
