The study assessed the effect of cyproterone acetate on skin symptoms of hyperandrogenism in 120 women aged 18 to 35, focusing on acne, hirsutism, and alopecia. Patients were treated with cyproterone acetate, with some also receiving ethinyl estradiol. Results indicated significant improvements in psychoemotional state, anxiety, depressive disorders, self-esteem, and sociability, leading to an enhanced quality of life. Specifically, 91% of patients experienced reduced anxiety and depressive symptoms, positively impacting personal relationships and overall life satisfaction.
