The Mind-Body Problem: Three Equations and One Solution Represented by Immaterial-Material Data

Ion G. Motofei, David L. Rowland
TLDR The mind and body don't directly interact; the mind acts as an interface linking abstract and physical data.
The document addressed the mind-body problem by proposing that the interaction between immaterial (abstract/intangible) and material (biological) domains does not actually occur, thus rendering the problem a false issue. Instead, it suggested that the mind functions as an interface, creating a temporal association between immaterial data and material support without direct interaction. This perspective expanded the traditional psycho-biological approach to a bio-psycho-social model, resulting in three equations (bio-psychological, bio-social, and psycho-social) that could be resolved by a dynamic cerebral system. This system, consisting of two interconnected brain subunits, was proposed to process abstract data through association rather than interaction.
