TLDR Imbalances in magnesium and calcium are linked to health and behavior issues.
The study investigated the concentrations of magnesium and calcium in human blood serum and their effects on health and behavior, focusing on volunteers from two distinct environments in Pakistan: the rural Hunza and urban Karachi. Using Flame Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy, the research found that imbalances in these elements were linked to medical issues such as hair loss, insomnia, muscle fatigue, joint pain, and hyperactivity, as well as behavioral symptoms like anger, frustration, and anxiety. The study highlighted the impact of modernization and environmental pollutants on declining health and emphasized the importance of maintaining adequate levels of these essential elements. Statistical analysis was conducted to support these findings.
