TLDR Use a frontal forelock pattern to manage advanced hair loss.
The article from August 2013 discussed strategies for managing patients with advanced hair loss where full, dense coverage was not feasible. It covered planning transplant patterns for already bald men and adopting a conservative approach for younger patients showing early signs of extensive hair loss. For both groups, the recommended strategy was typically a variant of a frontal forelock-type pattern.
