TLDR Hair loss might be due to nerve issues, treatable with electric stimulation or acupuncture.
Male-pattern hair loss may be caused by neuropathy of the supraorbital nerve, which can be treated with transcutaneous electrical neural stimulation (TENS) or possibly acupuncture. Hair loss results from the deprivation of the trophic or nutritional factor of hair follicles and may occur anywhere on the body. Further investigation is needed to determine the relationship between hair loss and supraorbital foramen.
