TLDR Continuous treatment is essential to manage male pattern baldness effectively.
This study on male androgenetic alopecia (AGA) demonstrates the necessity of continuous treatment to manage this chronic condition effectively. A 22-year-old patient showed significant improvements in hair loss and scalp health through a regimen of oral supplements, topical treatments, and electrotherapy over four months. However, stopping the treatment led to regression, highlighting that AGA is controllable but not curable. The study stresses the importance of sustained therapeutic adherence, patient education, and multidisciplinary support to maintain results and prevent hair loss recurrence.
