This systematic review compared treatments for alopecia areata and androgenetic alopecia, focusing on studies from 2018. The review included 16 articles after screening 110 records from PUBMED. The findings highlight the necessity of individualized treatment plans and the importance of combining pharmacological therapy with psychological support, given the significant role of hair in personal identity and communication.
