A 1-year-old female Persian cat with hair loss and skin lesions was diagnosed with Malassezia dermatitis, an opportunistic infection caused by the yeast Malassezia pachydermatis. The cat was treated with oral Fluconazole, topical miconazole shampoo, and a skin tonic containing omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. After 1 week of treatment, the cat showed significant clinical improvement, and after 4 weeks, it fully recovered.
